“Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens is managed and operated by Friends of the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. The Gardens is a non-profit public charity organization founded to help support the daily operations of the gardens. Friends' volunteers provide hands-on, day-to-day oversight of the facility, including staffing to handle the many visitors year-round. Membership options also include exclusive gatherings, hands-on how-to seminars, discounts at their gift shop, and paid events. The garden has approximately 1.7 miles of sidewalks constructed, offering winding trails through The Gardens and showcasing various trees, shrubs, and plants. Donations are welcomed and are tax-deductible. Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens is free of charge to all who enter. Pets are not permitted in the garden. The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens is currently open to the public seven days a week. Admission is free for active military personnel and their families.”
