SAVANNAS PRESERVE STATE PARK TRAIL REVIEWS
Well maintained walking trails, beautiful views , an abundant wildlife on the trail . you can see dozens of types of birds, alligators and if you're really quiet , maybe some wild hogs. Park attendants/officers are awesome, helpful and informative. There's a boat launch for canoes and small boats you are allowed to use electric motors on them. Park admission is $3 you can't beat that.
It's a state park, so it speaks for itself. Understand that this is more of a brush area with some trees. More in line with tortoises, snakes, lizards etc. Depending on which part of the park you are in, there is canoe access and kayaking available.
Very beautiful preserve, very nicely maintained... the guides are very friendly... they offer school trips for local or children...

OAK HAMMOCK PARK TRAIL REVIEWS
Wow, this park has it all. A nice SHADY pine trail, a much larger double loop oak hammock trail that feels like a jungle, a playground that seems shady at least before about noon, large covered pavilion, restrooms, boat ramp to the large canal, fishing dock, small canal with wildlife. The only thing it doesn’t have is swings and a ferris wheel. My main purpose was trail walking and both were fantastic in the fall through early spring. Mosquitoes will attack in summer so be prepared. There are various loops and crosspaths, so you can choose how far you want to go. Nice thick canopy with a wide dirt trail, roots here and there but a brave jogging stroller would do just fine.
Nice peaceful relaxing little Park along a canal in Port St Lucie Florida. There's bathrooms, a playground, a picnic area, a boat ramp and a few shaded trails to walk on or you can walk along the canal. You can fish there too. It's out of the way so it's usually not crowded.
Oak Hammock Park offers more than just a beautiful setting. Boaters will appreciate the well-maintained boat ramp, and anglers will be thrilled with the opportunity to fish in the park's waters. With a commitment to upkeep and accessibility, Oak Hammock Park is the perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts.

OXBOW ECO-CENTER REVIEWS
Need an escape from the traffic and the people - the Center is small nature preserve (200+ acres) with a learning center. The Center is ok - some good info and lots of "stuffed" animals to view with some live critters (snakes, turtles, etc). The Trails are amazing -- and loop around -- they include various landscapes, 3 towers for viewing and seating areas on the path. make sure you explore the canal trail for more bird viewing. 3.5 miles of trails -- a good stroll in fresh air!
Beautiful grounds with multiple short and long trails. Great lookout towers which are wheelchair accessible. There are several bridges which provide a nice overview of wet areas. The trails are all mulch, sand or grass great for walking or jogging. The trails are full of life. We saw multiple snakes, turtles, tracks, birds and flowers. There is a butterfly garden which needs some sprucing up and weeding. The education center is noteworthy. Lots of parking. Love this park.
I've been hiking at Oxbow for almost 15 years. Seems the only place you can go on the Treasure Coast to get some peace and quiet. Great trails for easy biking, good canopy for shade along the trail. A great place to organize your thoughts.
