“Zoo Boise is a renowned attraction in Southern Boise City, Idaho. The Zoo is a living science center accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA). Owned by the City of Boise and managed by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department in collaboration with the Friends of Zoo Boise, a private non-profit organization, the zoo is home to over 300 creatures representing more than 100 species. It plays a pivotal role as a hub for conservation efforts. Zoo Boise boasts diverse animal exhibits, including an African boat ride, a kids' farm, a butterfly area, and various food and beverage options.
