My experience with Cavalier Land was nothing but positive (Renter from 2015-2016). I firmly believe these are the best value apartments in Norfolk. Yes, many of the properties are in older buildings. However, they are well maintained, clean, and safe. The maintenance staff is ultra responsive and friendly. They post notices as to when they will be entering apartments for routine maintenance. Many reviews stated that their lease required a larger than normal notice given when moving out. In my experience with other apartments in Norfolk, 60-90 days is pretty standard across the board. I would suggest reading your lease and move-in instructions carefully. That being said, you will be happy you chose Cavalier Land!

We have been renting with Cavalierland for over three years and have had a great experience so far. The front office ladies have always been professional, yet personable and always quickly respond to emails. Maintenance has also been quick to respond within 24 hours.

5 stars, hands down. From my experience Toni was very easy to work with and my apartment complex was in West Ghent which is a decent living area, not too busy. No issues with maintenance or the pest control guy. Loved the old man who did the weekly hallway sweeps! The 3 reasons why I moved: I wanted to live closer to the oceanfront, I'm dying for a washer/dyer inside the apartment, & a parking space (street parking has left its mark on my car.) I rented from Toni for 3 years and it was an enjoyable experience. The buildings have a lot of character!
