Dr. Penciu is the best psychiatrist that I have ever seen. He is so knowledgeable about mental disorders and medications. He is so easy to talk to and provides excellent feedback to your questions. He is also very friendly and courteous. I feel at ease talking to him about sensitive issues. You can tell that he really cares about his patients. Also, Angel the Office Manager is very responsive and tries so very hard to help you in whatever you need help with. Angel is also wonderful with follow-through. Overall, my experience has been marvelous.

Dr. Penciu is the best. I've had a number of psychiatrists over the years and I appreciate his combination of expertise, kindness and patient explanations so much. He takes the time and space to listen. I think the main thing that's needed in a therapeutic relationship is trust, and he definitely inspires that. Sometimes he will ask permission for a student to sit in on our session and I'm always happy to agree so there can be more future Dr. Pencius! Side note The online portal where I can make appointments, make payments, do everything is so convenient.

Dr. Penciu is very kind, patient and compassionate. My transition working with him was a little uncomfortable but, as we adjusted to each other our relationship is very supportive. He is respectful of my time and needs, and timely responsds to prescription and other requests.
