Dr. Brian Briscoe is a distinguished psychiatrist board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Having earned his medical degree and completed specialized training in psychiatry, he founded his practice in 2011, which has since evolved into the multidisciplinary group known as Next Step 2 Mental Health in Louisville, Kentucky. With a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach, Dr. Briscoe offers care to adults of all ages. His dedication to education and teaching led him to serve as a former full-time faculty member for the University of Louisville Department of Psychiatry. Even today, he continues to share his expertise with residents, medical students, and nurse practitioners through a gratis faculty appointment. Additionally, Dr. Briscoe has contributed to several scholarly articles and presented at international conferences, earning recognition through numerous awards for research, service, and academic excellence.
