3 Best Psychiatrists in Mobile, AL

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jenkins for about 5 years now, and he’s been such a wonderful doctor ??????????? Him not his staff has ever made me feel I was a inconvenience, always compassionate and caring. So glad that I was able to find him.

Great doctor, seen him on and off for several years. Just have to find the right dosages and meds for my issues, and the whole office staff is very friendly and understanding of certain things. Everything is tele-medicine from now on there, and I find that to be pretty convenient, although I miss seeing him in person.

Dr Jenkins is a kind man, very professional, and extremely intelligent. I have been through terrible times in my life, and I have a very hard time talking to people. But, Dr Jenkins has always been so easy to talk to. Has been there for me even when I was broke, and lost my father he still saw me. To find a doctor who cares enough to see you, and even check in on you when you are down and out is very rare nowadays. I have nothing but great things to say about this man.

As i read these other reviews of Dr.Barnett,i have Nothing more to offer! These reviews are just absolutley accurate!! She is an Awesome,understanding psychiatrist that listens to me( and I tend to over talk),she absolutely values your opinion as a patient and takes into consideration your feelings. Timely,and always a positive,good attitude,I just love this about her, because ,for me,sometimes she is THE only place i consider ' safe',comfortable,and the only place i find a positive word and a place for edification-You know;The place and person you know who knows just what to do to give you a boost of confidence in the right direction! I ABSOLUTLEY agree with what the other person said,in a word,She Is a Lifesaver!!!! She helped me change my life for the better in a huge way. I mean i was HOPELESS and i didn't see a way out or up,Just i thank God,personally,for Dr.Barnett.

I've been seeing Dr Barnette for about 10 years. She's never been 2 minutes late for an appointment. She does listen, understands, and treats you with respect. She also values your opinion on medications too. I've been seeing psychiatrists for 28 years, and never had a better one than her.

Dr. Barnett is phenomenal. She actually cares and listens! And you can expect to be seen on your actual appointment time. Not one minute later. She is the best!

Dr Haygood is knowledgeable and an excellent diagnostician. He brings patients into treatment options for empowerment. He uses precision medications based on gene studies. In our experience he only prescribes what is necessary. He is quick to offer information about coupons if that is an option. He helped our family at a critical juncture and for that, we will always be grateful.

I have been through a few psychiatrists in the past but I have to say that Dr. Haygood is the best! He cares for his patients. He wants his patients to get better and have a happy life. He told me that he would do everything in his power to help. I can't thank him enough for helping me.

Dr. Haygood is hands down the best. He has listened thoroughly to my needs and helped me more than I can describe. He respects my values and proves over and over how devoted he is to the best care possible for me. Always professional and kind. I’ve never felt safer in anyone’s care.
