This doctor is amazing. Listens well, gets back to you immediately, respectful, smart... best I have had at Kaiser. I have to add to this two year old review... This man gets back to me within an hour on a weekday EVERY time I email him with a question. Now, to be clear, I do not email him very often. But seriously... I have never met a doctor who is so on the ball and truly putting one-hundred percent toward his patients. I just cannot say enough about Dr. Vargas's professional demeanor and sincere concern for my well-being. He always listens to me when I have concerns, and he respects my opinion about trying new medications for a stubborn disorder. So, so rare. I feel extremely fortunate, and for anyone looking for a Psychiatrist, you will not find anyone better.

He's really good at his job - skilled and approachable. He's very attractive in personality and demeanor. I liked his voice and mannerisms too. The consummate professional.

I began seeing Dr. Jesalva on referral by my therapist. I was nervous because I had been reluctant for many years to treat my anxiety with medication, but I had reached a point of being willing to try it. Dr. Jesalva was very respectful about my nervousness and hesitancy. He was always very patient with me and answered all of my questions and concerns. He took these concerns seriously and took the process very slowly with me. He connected with me often and asked me many questions. I always felt he truly listened to my concerns and would make decisions and changes based on them. Dr. Jesalva worked with me slowly and carefully until we found the exact medication that ended up working great for me. I was not a believer in medication for myself and had many reservations and worries about being overprescribed or not feeling like myself anymore. I've been incredibly happy to have reached a place where we have found the right medication for me that helps me feel calmer than I ever believed was possible for me, while still feeling very much like myself! I'm very grateful to Dr. Jesalva.

The best psychiatrist I have seen to date. He cares about his patients. He listens and has belief in what they tell him. Words cannot describe what he and Sally have done to help me. He will stop at nothing to make you feel like yourself again. Receptive and well-educated. I highly recommend Dr. Jesalva. Where other psychiatrists fail, he thrives and allows you to live the life you well deserve.

Dr. Saifuddin has been one of the best psychiatrists to have treated me in the past few years. I suffer from anxiety and see her once every 2 months. She is a courteous listener and is very thorough with her advice. I feel very comfortable in her office and her staff are very pleasant. I highly recommend her for new patients and continue to appreciate her devotion to psychiatry.

The staff are responsive & professional and were able to get me in to see Dr. S right away. Dr. S is patient, kind and intelligent. She took time to carefully explain my test results as well as formulate an individualized plan of care to meet my specific needs. I’m a medical professional & I would highly recommend the staff and this office without hesitation.

The administrative staff are excellent. They understood and addressed all of my needs quickly and efficiently. The doctor was friendly and easy to talk to. She listened carefully and addressed my concerns from a deep well of experience. I felt understood, listened to and taken seriously. A good experience.
