Over the past two years, Dr Matefy has partnered with me, providing me with perspective and tools to overcome significant hurdles including anxiety and abuse. From my first session, his focus was to ensure I was comfortable as can be, and ensure a safe environment where I had the opportunity to grow. Today, I am proud - with his help - to use the tools provided daily, and reflect so often upon the successes that at one point seemed impossible. It is because of this relationship and partnership that I have come so far so quickly. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

dr matefy is a good man and doctor. he has always been there for me. when I'm in crisis mode he is always a phone call away. he listens to his patients and more importantly he talks to them too. he makes me feel special and important.

Dr. Matefy is a good listener and patiently helps me to discover my erroneous ways. He provides a safe place that allows me to get rid of thoughts and behaviors that get in the way of my recovery, replacing them with more positive changes. He is experienced and knowledgeable, like a kind, wise and accepting father figure that I trust to help me find the right way. Homework assignments are part of my therapy, and he will also send me articles to further understand what I am going through. I still have a way to go but Dr. Matefy has taught me good coping skills.
