Hi, I wanted to post my experience getting my child evaluated through Dunn Psychological Services, Inc. including some of the questions i had along the way. I first reached out to Dr. Dunn’s office early June 2024 and inquired about the process to get my child scheduled for an autism program evaluation. From the beginning they were very transparent with how long it would take to get her scheduled and the cost. They scheduled our first appointment mid June 2024 and it was a virtual appointment with one of her associates. During this appointment the psychologist asked me a bunch of questions to determine whether there was actually a need to get my child evaluated. They then sent a request for prior authorization with our insurance. This part took about two months. Once they heard back from our insurance they called me to schedule her final 3 appointments. The first appointment was virtual and scheduled for mid September 2024 and it was just me and the psychologist. She asked me a bunch of questions regarding my child. The second appointment was in person late September 2024. During this appointment they evaluated my child. The appointment took about an hour and a half but I was told it could take up to 3 hours. Our final appointment was scheduled for mid October 2024 and this appointment was virtual. During this appointment we discussed the results from their evaluation and the assessments I completed. Overall, I was very happy with the whole process and would 10/10 recommend Dr. Dunn’s office.

I have referred patients to Dr. Dunn and her associates. While I already knew Dr. Dunn and her staff are knowledgeable and professional, the feedback from patients has been positive. I will continue to refer patients to the office. I highly recommend!
