“Garvin Park is one of the oldest public parks in Evansville, IN. The Public park has many features and is next to historic Bosse Field. The park was planned and laid out in 1915 in a naturalistic landscape style. The park has over 80 acres of parkland. Garvin Park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is famous for public gatherings. The park has a large lake, swimming pool, playground, tennis court, and basketball courts. The park's contributing concrete and stone bridges are located in the park. Garvin Park has walking trails for walkers and biking trails and has a lot of trees with extensive long trails. Ritzy's, the fantasy of lights, was there in the park, which is magical. The lake in the park is an excellent place to walk. Garvin Park is one of the best and favorite places for kids to play.”
