WADLEY BARRON PARK REVIEWS
I sure wish the ducks had more water to the edges...but what if it rained!? Lol. Love this place. Full of memories! I'm enjoying making new ones because all those old memories people are gone. Thank you to Keep Midland Beautiful and Parks and Recreation for the upkeep. I love walking here, catching photos of sunsets in the water and listening to the fountain!
This a nice park. Not a lot of parks with lakes here in Midland. Best to go here during the early morning or closer to sun down to avoid the heat during the middle of the day. There are a lot of ducks and if your lucky get to see a lot of turtles too swimming around or by the shore sun bathing.
Our kiddos love this park, especially the ducks!! It's an awesome place to enjoy fresh air and a great place to walk! Lots of people come out in the evenings when it's cooler.

C.J. KELLY PARK REVIEWS
I only visited this place at night while I was there... I was captivated by the ducks and geese.. Also the locks and names on the bridge were interesting . Not sure what they represent though. This is a peaceful location with a playground , benches and a pond. Also this place is located by markets and stores.
Long walkways for my mid to run around, she learned to ride the hop scooter hear. You get to see an amazing sunset here. Lot of photo opportunity too. Wish there were more trees though.
Great park because it has a huge field for anything you want to do, hit golf balls, bikes, soccer- you name it!

DENNIS THE MENACE PARK REVIEWS
Absolutely fantastic park! Three huge playgrounds, swings, and a water park-splash pad. There is not a lot of shaded bench seating but most people just sat on towels or blankets under the trees. There is a decent bathroom. There is open lawn for impromptu soccer games and such. The parking lot is small and tight, but there is a large (abandoned?) parking lot adjacent that we were able to easily get our horse trailer in and out of. There is some street parking as well. We’re passing through town and glad we stopped!
My kids love this place. Many areas for kids of all ages. Plenty of shade if you need but not so many tables to sit down at when you have a family with you and brought food but theres a few and its usually full. Theres a fountain at the entrance and kids put rocks and things in it so it looks pretty dirty even though I've seen kids drink from it I wouldn't recommend it.
Very nice place for kids below 10 to have fun specially at the splash pad with this hot weather. Dont forget to bring a towel and some drink. There is not vending machine.
