TOP 3 GLEN OAK PARK REVIEWS
Awesome park with a geyser, zoo and botanical garden within the park. The kids love their two playgrounds and vast fields. They have a picnic area and multiple tables throughout the park. Definitely my go to for the kids day out in the park.
Second time we have been here. My boys enjoyed the animals. We were a little too early to feed the giraffes, but we're on a field trip and had to stay with the group. The gentlemen with the mould of the tiger skull was very informative and interactive with the kids! They loved it!
Beautiful peaceful gardens,my wife and I visited in August, but should be nicer in spring, we're going back again.

TOP 3 LAURA BRADLEY PARK REVIEWS
Great place to unwind and relax in nature! You can go for a walk, run or bike ride. More stuff to do - disc golf, baseball; volleyball, basketball etc. This place is a GEM!
Peoria's oldest disc golf course. Great for beginners and seasoned players. New baskets were installed a few years back. 2-3 pin locations on most holes. Makes for a great time. Great course for a casual round or a competitive one.
Safe fun place for your kids and all ages . Tennis courts , frisbee golf course that is one of the best around along with dog parks on lower level and upper level . Great for prom pictures.

TOP 3 DETWEILLER PARK REVIEWS
We love Detweiller Park! They have some nice hiking trails. There is a park close to a pavilion with a restroom close by. They have a sled hill in the winter for families to enjoy. There is a large field for soccer games, cross country meets, etc. They have a frisby golf course to play on. There is plenty of parking in different areas. I wouldn't suggest bringing in a semi or RV, but there is an area where you could park an RV as long as there aren't a lot of cars parked there.
Daughter had an amazing time sledding! The same hill provides two options. If you slide to the far right it’s a short hill or low slide. If you follow around to the left it’s a long drop where they can really pick up some speed.
Loved the giant redwood log there! Also a good place for sledding and hiking, although the nearby forest park nature center is probably better for hiking.
