GLEN OAK PARK REVIEWS
Second time we have been here. My boys enjoyed the animals. We were a little too early to feed the giraffes, but we're on a field trip and had to stay with the group. The gentlemen with the mould of the tiger skull was very informative and interactive with the kids! They loved it!
We love this park! The wooden playground is so cool, with lots of places to explore. My kids love the "secret passages" and the tires.
Taking the dog there brought back memories from when I went there as a kid and it was a beautiful day and enjoyable.

LAURA BRADLEY PARK REVIEWS
This park has a little something for everybody. Great for families, students, groups, dog owners, sports, picnics, photo ops etc. It’s a big place with many different paths, play grounds, picnic areas, dog park, hammocking spots. Just keep watch cause its a big frolfing course too, so there’s usually a frisbee coming from some direction. And the squirrels are Disney level friendly
I love the dog park! PLENTY of room, and there is a top and a bottom to the park. There are bags there already to pick up after your dog, so you don't have to bring any. There's even a water spout if you need it! Everyone there is always friendly too :)
probably my favorite that the Peoria Park District has to offer, with tons of different amenities that I assume other reviews already cover. had our wedding reception in the park shelter and the PPD staff was great to work with for questions on things like how we could decorate it

DETWEILLER PARK REVIEWS
It's a beautiful park that is a bit of a treasure hunt to find. Getting to the playground isn't straightforward. It leads you up mountain's, along twists and turns and even to dead ends. When you do find the playground it is like a little oasis with a big X all over it. My kids did enjoy the playground equipment and I loved that it had picnic tables!
Beautiful scenery. The trails were easy to follow. Only bad experience was that someone had a reactive dog that tried to go after my dog. Other then that, I would recommend it.
A beautiful park that has the capability to handle hundreds and hundreds of high school Cross County runners. It is amazing to watch the start when a horde of runners all start at once. A great place to run.
