This is an awesome city park with lots of running, walking and bike paths. Also in the park is a free zoo, free art museum, free history museum, and free Science Center. If you like flowers you can visit the Jewel Box for a small fee. In the summer you can check out an outdoor musical at The Muny where each night there are some free seats available (get there early!). This was the site of the 1904 world's fair and some structures are still original to that time. Something for everyone!

Tower Grove Park is wonderful. It's a large park in the middle of South city well-known for it's athletic fields, weekend kickball leagues, gorgeous running trails, bird sanctuary, and architectural pavilions perfect for family reunions and large picnics. The park also features Food Truck Fridays during the summer, and the tower Grove farmers market on Saturday mornings for much if the year. If you're a St. Louis tourist, I'd say prioritize Forest Park on your list.

OMG!!!!! What have we been missing. This park is a gem and we've passed it soo many times without a second thought. We walked around here after visiting Four Muddy Paws and Park Avenue Coffee with the baby. What a great park with nice trails, the lake with the swans and plenty of benches throughout with great views. We even caught a wedding taking place. We got soo caught up in swan watching, crossing bridges and just the pure beauty of nature around us.
