"Tower Grove Park has 289 acres of public space that hosts cultural and educational programs. The Park also includes a summer children's concert series, lecture series, art exhibits, the Tower Grove Farmers' Market, and band concerts. The three playgrounds are safe and fun family gathering places. It has well-maintained trails, tennis courts, and athletic fields that are busy year-round. Tower Grove Park offers an accessible public venue for three St. Louis Symphony performances each year, and the historic Music Stand hosts ten performances by the Compton Heights Concert Band each summer. Tower Grove Park is a beautiful park and a great place to picnic and hang out with friends and family.

2026 Update: Tower Grove Park is the home to about 7,000 trees and hundreds of plant varieties in an arboretum setting, and it includes Splash Pad (Muckerman Fountain) for seasonal family water play. The park has a unique Nee Kee Nee nature playscape with an interactive stream and natural play elements. It is the popular venue for the Festival of Nations, food truck events, and community celebrations. Maintained by an independent board, not fully city-operated, which is unusual for a public park."

The park boasts a beautiful boathouse, walking paths, tennis courts, a fantastic rec center and pool, ball fields, horseshoe pits, and playgrounds. The park has two lakes for fishing, tennis courts, softball fields, baseball fields, and soccer fields. The park also has a recycling center, picnic areas, and a 1.6-mile bicycle path. Carondelet Park has plenty of great shade spots, fishing, picnics, and walking trails. The fountains are beautiful inside the park.

2026 Update: Carondelet Park includes horseshoe pits for traditional outdoor games, and it provides pickleball courts in addition to other sports areas. The park contains multiple reservable pavilions for gatherings and events. It includes bike racks near the recreation center for cyclists. Offers softball and baseball fields in different sections of the park. It has lake fishing opportunities with stocked waters."

"O'Fallon Park is an ideal recreation destination that has 126.63 acres of parkland. The park has swimming pools, outdoor activities, food trucks, functional water fountains, and bike racks near the trail. There is an island in the middle of the lake which is full of plants and trees. In the park, there are separate chess tables and planters located between the lake and the boathouse. O'Fallon Park has outdoor recreational facilities, fitness equipment, and sports fields. It is an excellent place for people to sit and relax in nature. The park is a great picnic spot for spending time together with family and friends. O'Fallon Park offers fee parking options.

2026 Update: O'Fallon Park includes chess tables and planters near the lake and boathouse. It provides a long fitness trail with workout stations along the path. The Park provides a handicap-accessible playground installed as a major upgrade. It is located on land originally part of Colonel John O’Fallon’s 600-acre property, and includes a spray pool / wading pool for seasonal water play"

Tower Grove Park is, without question, one of the crown jewels of St. Louis. Nestled just south of the Missouri Botanical Garden, this Victorian-era park offers a rare and captivating blend of natural beauty, historic charm, and vibrant community life. Whether you’re seeking quiet morning walks beneath towering oak and ginkgo trees, a peaceful place to picnic with family, or a lively backdrop for a weekend farmers market or festival, Tower Grove delivers. The park is immaculately maintained, with winding paths, ornate pavilions, bubbling fountains, and an impressive array of plant life that changes with the seasons—each turn offering something new to appreciate. It’s also a hub of activity and inclusivity. On any given day, you’ll find yoga classes in the grass, musicians playing under the trees, kids laughing near the playgrounds, and local sports teams competing on the fields. The energy is always welcoming, never overwhelming. A large beautiful park with many different sections, things to do, things to see, places to sit and pavilions to have gatherings in. The landscaping and plants were beautiful and brought all sorts of wildlife to the area. It was a beautiful way to stroll and then sit on a bench and relax and enjoy the beautiful plants and water as the sun was setting.

I could have stayed in this park all day, it was inviting and enchanted. Every path felt like an adventure deeper into the unknown. The fountains and fixtures plus the wildlife made it more enjoyable. If animals are cozy here you know it's well tended. There were a significant amount of staff that were tending gardens and mowing. This location was very well kept for everyone to enjoy.

Love this park and so does my pup! It's a great place to walk. The ducks at the pond are so happy and sweet to watch! There's plenty of good walking paths throughout the park, benches, shade trees in the spring and summer. Or recent visit was in January after a heavy winter snow storm. The pond was partially frozen over and watching the ducks waddle over the ice was quiet amusing. It's lovely how happy all the birds seem with snow on the ground.

Beautiful here, great place to spend time and just read. I like setting my hammock up in spring and summer and enjoying the outdoors. There's a gorgeous lake with docks, and it's fun to watch people fish and gaze at the ducks.

Great park in the middle of South City. Wonderful loop paved walking/running trail around the perimeter of the park. Picturesque lake and pavillion in the center. Lots of parking. Great option to get some some time with nature without leaving the city. Also have pickelball courts, a playground, horseshoe pits, and fishing in the lake.

It's a beautiful place to visit is very family-orientated and safe take your family and enjoy it playground Rec Center swimming pool nice place to be come visit.

I grew up playing in this park. It has a great deal to offer the imaginations of children and the heart of city dwellers. We need to form Friends of O'Falllon Park and begin to Preserve and renovate the park.

This is a nice park to chill at ,I don't be seeing g all the bad stuff they say about this park...I never see it ,only people having fun with their girl and kids.
