"Tower Grove Park has 289 acres of public space that hosts cultural and educational programs. The Park also includes a summer children's concert series, lecture series, art exhibits, the Tower Grove Farmers' Market, and band concerts. The three playgrounds are safe and fun family gathering places. It has well-maintained trails, tennis courts, and athletic fields that are busy year-round. Tower Grove Park offers an accessible public venue for three St. Louis Symphony performances each year, and the historic Music Stand hosts ten performances by the Compton Heights Concert Band each summer. Tower Grove Park is a beautiful park and a great place to picnic and hang out with friends and family.

2026 Update: Tower Grove Park is the home to about 7,000 trees and hundreds of plant varieties in an arboretum setting, and it includes Splash Pad (Muckerman Fountain) for seasonal family water play. The park has a unique Nee Kee Nee nature playscape with an interactive stream and natural play elements. It is the popular venue for the Festival of Nations, food truck events, and community celebrations. Maintained by an independent board, not fully city-operated, which is unusual for a public park."

"Carondelet Park has multiple playgrounds that cater to children of various ages. The park boasts a beautiful boathouse, walking paths, tennis courts, a fantastic rec center and pool, ball fields, horseshoe pits, and playgrounds. The park has two lakes for fishing, tennis courts, softball fields, baseball fields, and soccer fields. The park also has a recycling center, picnic areas, and a 1.6-mile bicycle path. Carondelet Park has plenty of great shade spots, fishing, picnics, and walking trails. The fountains are beautiful inside the park.

2026 Update: Carondelet Park includes horseshoe pits for traditional outdoor games, and it provides pickleball courts in addition to other sports areas. The park contains multiple reservable pavilions for gatherings and events. It includes bike racks near the recreation center for cyclists. Offers softball and baseball fields in different sections of the park. It has lake fishing opportunities with stocked waters."

"O'Fallon Park is an ideal recreation destination that has 126.63 acres of parkland. The park has swimming pools, outdoor activities, food trucks, functional water fountains, and bike racks near the trail. There is an island in the middle of the lake which is full of plants and trees. In the park, there are separate chess tables and planters located between the lake and the boathouse. O'Fallon Park has outdoor recreational facilities, fitness equipment, and sports fields. It is an excellent place for people to sit and relax in nature. The park is a great picnic spot for spending time together with family and friends. O'Fallon Park offers fee parking options.
