It boasts a beautiful boathouse, a fantastic rec-center, and pool, ball fields, horseshoe pits, walking paths, tennis courts, and playgrounds. The topography of the park is quite varied in that there are sinkholes, railroad tracks, bridges, hills, and valleys. Carondelet Park offers fitness areas and gym equipment.

O'Fallon Park has over 126.63 acres of parkland. It provides places along the track that include the commonly seen blue workout stations. The park has swimming pools, outdoor activities, food trucks, functional water fountains and bike racks near the trail. There is a planted island in the middle of the lake, and chess tables and planters between the lake and the boathouse. Wheelchair access is available.
