Loved it! It was my first time ever and I was a little hesitant because it looked like a steampunk themed and it was almost all metal but I was wrong. I loved it! Everyone, including kids and adults were having a good time and honestly it took me back to when I was a kid and being care free and creative. This place was designed to bring out people's creativity.

Really great zoo. Small enough for kids to get around in one day, and it's FREE, which is so nice bc it's hard to take kids to places and try and teach them things when everything is so expensive! We paid for parking ($10?) and for the petting zoo ($4/anyone older than 2) but felt it was well worth it bc we didn't have to pay a million bucks to get in in the first place. Friendly staff too. We came from New York and loved this little gem! Thanks St. Louis zoo!

Exploring botanical gardens has become a favorite past time for my wife and myself. So I was delighted to have a couple hours to visit the Missouri Botanical Garden during my recent business trip to St. Louis. Just a quick 15-minute uber ride away from my hotel, I was dropped off right in front of the garden. $8 admission was a steal as compared to what I'm used to paying to visit a garden. I found everything to be beautiful, well-maintained and kept.
