Beautiful, big park, lots of trails for walking. Plenty of shade trees, an amphitheatre, pavilion, a conservatory, gardens and much more. We enjoyed our walk this morning
Absolutely a south side landmark & treasured gem. The sunken garden returned to its original glory for many years now due to the hard work of many people. The walking paths are a pleasure. Conservatory houses a tropical rainforest that one can walk through featuring koi ponds & a little waterfall.
Garfield Park is beautiful. There are several areas for different purposes. There is a playground area, picnic area, botanical garden and art center. There is also another building I have not been able to visit. It is easy to get to the park from Raymond Street. The park is only a few minutes away from downtown Indianapolis.
