The center is one of the favorite gathering spots for seniors from the Best Years Club. All their staff are bilingual (English/Spanish) and can assist customers in their preferred language. The center offers an assortment of sports and fitness classes, programs for those with disabilities, community events, and an after-school program. Here’s The Deal:
Greenbriar Community Center is a 50-acre park, lake, and community center in the south-central part of Fort Worth. The Greenbriar Community Center is located just off of Hemphill Street and lies adjacent to Greenbriar Park. The Community Center is the perfect place to have fun both inside and outside. They afford recreational programs that suit all ages. They have an 18 hole disc golf course, playground, ten tables, rentable pavilion, a driving range, and a lake that gets stocked every two weeks throughout the year by TPWD. The center hosts various community events, recreational and fitness classes, and an after-school program that utilizes the nearby lake for an assortment of outdoor activities, including fishing and canoeing. The park boasts a disc golf course, and the lake is stocked with trout during the winter months and catfish during the spring and summer.

Sycamore Community Center is the headquarters for Park & Recreation Youth Sports, and it shows. Sycamore Community Center is conveniently located just off East Rosedale Street. There’s plenty of opportunity for a pick-up game from its baseball field to the basketball court. Sycamore Community Center offers volleyball, an after-school program, boxing, various fitness classes, and community activities. If you’re looking for more of a solo workout, their knowledgeable staff are always here to discuss upcoming center activities. Sycamore Community Center is also the home of the youth sports program for the City of Fort Worth.
