During a recent trip to Austin, TX, my friend and I decided to stop by Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood & Bar in Killeen, and overall, it was a pretty solid experience. Our Host & Server, LB, made the evening enjoyable with excellent recommendations and her knowledge of the menu. I ordered the Fried Shrimp and Oyster Basket paired with French fries, while my dining companion chose a Crab Seafood Boil. The flavors were well-executed, with seasoning that hit the spot. While the shrimp was slightly chewy, the overall taste made up for it. The atmosphere was decent, though the lighting on our side of the restaurant felt a bit dark, which could use some improvement. The location is easy to access with plenty of parking, though I would note that the setup, with the bar at the center, makes it less kid-friendly. For those looking for a laid-back evening with some great seafood options, this is a solid pick.

First time visiting this establishment since it originally opened. We had a great experience. Food came out pretty quick and was delicious. The portion sizes were large and well worth what we spent. Service was outstanding. We definitely be returning.

Great experience here. I love when a place has fried oysters! They play great music for a night out. I also love seeing the staff communication with their leaders/managers.

I am here the first time in the US/ Texas and I know the US Red Lobster chain from a Japan vacation. I went crazy when I saw Killeen has a Red Lobster Restaurant! So me and a colleague from work went there for two times. Last time I took the Snow Crab and this time the Maine Lobster steamed! Both were fresh and tasted awesome! It’s cool you can choose your Lobster alive from the fish tank. If you’re in a hurry they give you a package to go if you ask for it. Thanks a lot to the waitress Autumn for taking care of us! Hope we can come again before our journey in Texas ends!.

Red Lobster has always been a choice for my family for special outings and tonight literally brought back such memories and made more. Fast and great service, delicious food, and our amazing host was beyond excellent. Thank you Jaiden for a great and memorable night with my girls (daughters).

Jaedon Jacobs was our server and knocked it out of the park. The food was good, service great and the manager checked on us as well. 10 out 10 I would recommend.

Always good food...besides the boils, the California Chicken tacos are my favorite!.
