The Fish Market Restaurant

Absolutely obsessed with this place! This was my first visit and Birmingham and I know I will be missing the food here when I leave. The service was so personable, the servers were great about providing recommendations, which was helpful because their menu is huge! Absolutely loved the Greek snapper and chowder. They also have Greek pottery, groceries and seasonings for sale in their market. This place is a must-try in Birmingham.

I have heard great things about this restaurant, it’s located downtown. Very chill Mediterranean environment. I had pomegranate martini, highly recommend, with grilled salmon and green salad. My friend had the talipia with green salad as well. I had a baklava for desert, it was dry but asked the waiter to warm it up with honey on the top. Overall great experience, highly recommended for seafood.

A welcoming place! Got a seat at the bar and quickly made good conversations about the food and drinks. Soo many options to choose from on the menu! The shrimp are large and fried crispy and fresh. The trout was a good size and filling. I'm really glad I happened upon this place and should I ever get back to Birmingham I shall return.
