A-1 Septic Tank Service, Inc

Our 30-year-old septic tank needed replacement (fiberglass model with busted baffle). The tank site was in a difficult spot - little room to fit the smallest excavator. I received three bids; one was too expensive and the other (Acorn) was unprofessional (to say the least). James, the Construction Manager at A1, was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and honest throughout the process. The job was done quicker than expected and within the original bid price. More importantly, they worked seamlessly with the county (permit) and have a good relationship with the local inspector. I am very satisfied with their work.

I have had the pleasure of working with A1 over several years for one of our commercial retail sites in Hayward. Each time I have called, I have received attention to our pumping needs (often with very short or same day service calls), all successful and good workmanship. I have had four service calls in 2016 alone - great service. Great people, pleasant to work with. Happy customer.

A house I recently purchased had problems with the septic tank; Steve quickly came out and discussed repair options with me. In the end, I've been very happy with the service and the repairs. Steve was always easy to get hold of, kept me updated on progress and options, and worked hard to keep the price reasonable despite a large amount of labor involved.
