JIMMY'S CHARHOUSE REVIEWS

We had eaten here years ago but for some reason we had not gone back in years. We finally gave it a try again and we are glad we did. We will definitely be back in near future. All of our food was great and our server was extremely nice. Place was very busy on a Saturday night but they found us a table. Restaurant was very clean and well organized.

Such a charming restaurant! Food was excellent - huge portions. Homemade desserts and the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! Our server, Nancy, was amazing! She made the experience a true delight.

I was served the best Ruben sandwich! The meat was very tender-not very brimey or salty. Above all the thousand island dressing was served on the side. That made this sandwich easy to eat and not messy. Well done Jimmy's Char House.

APPLEBEE'S GRILL + BAR ELGIN REVIEWS

This place is outstanding. You don’t even know you’re at a “chain” establishment. Ralph runs an amazing restaurant and it shows by how his employees treat their customers. Shannon behind the bar is always on point, and tonight was no different. Jo-Jo is the same and always makes sure his tables are completely satisfied. In fact, not sure I’ve ever had a bad meal or bad service here. You get great value also. The burgers are phenomenal and the unlimited fries are an added plus. Always a cool vibe too.

Michelle G was phenomenal. Food was great, drinks were great, and the service was even better. She was so quick and attentive. We will definitely be returning to this location.

We had their chicken and steak special, which was very good. Also, the server did a great job. I would highly recommend.

BUCKINGHAMS STEAKHOUSE AND LOUNGE REVIEWS

Great food! Definitely over priced, but we were happy and impressed, which is all I need. I didn't know this place existed, so I'm happy to see such fine dining in Elgin. The server was very nice. The wine was great, the steak was perfection. I wouldn't get the au gratin again, but the creamed spinach was amazing. We went at 7pm on a Friday night and beat the rush. Not overcrowded though.

Hubby and I had a great time at Buckingham's Steakhouse. The food was phenomenal. He loves his Lobster Bisque and I love my Beef Bourguignon, potatoes and carrots.

Excellent service, atmosphere and food! Pricing reasonable. Absolutely love this place. Great steaks and seafood. It’s always hard to decide what to get.
