The Butchery

The Butchery is absolutely a top notch restaurant. The filet mignon was the best steak dinner I have ever had in my life. Topped with their house made bearnaise sauce and accompanied by the creamed spinach, it was absolutely the most incredible meal I have ever had. Others at my table enjoyed the salmon, with sides of asparagus and zucchini - both of which were also thoroughly impressed! The scotch flights also fantastic! Service, staff and atmosphere were all also on the top end of the scale. SUPER impressed, would HIGHLY recommend to others!!

This place has become one of my top 5 overall steakhouses. This is easily a 5-star intimate dining steakhouse experience without the pretense. It’s comfortable and inviting from the minute you walk through the door. There is a balance that the staff strikes between attentiveness, expert knowledge of the menu and allowing patrons to comfortably enjoy the experience. This is no easy task and no accident, it comes from a high level of experience, hard work and professionalism… kudos to management. Beyond the dining server staff, the bar staff are truly wizards of the craft of mixology. The smoky scents of craft libations emanates from bar and just completes the sensory experience. This is all before the main attraction! The kitchen staff does not disappoint…steaks, chops and seafood are always spot on, cooked to perfection. Side dishes are a decadent treat from the creamed spinach to the potatoes au gratin…be sure to make room for a few, you won’t regret it. Overall, The Butchery puts it all together and makes it look and feel effortless.

I was going to give this place a four star rating, but the more I thought about it, I needed to give it five stars. I really enjoyed the food, my steaks were cooked exactly as I requested and my drink was so good I had to have a second one. The service was good, and the ambiance was okay. The only gripe I have was the price, which was a bit too much for what you get, but the overall quality was good.
