Authentic, quiet atmosphere. Fresh sushi, in large portions, and speedy service. We tried the Fusion Salmon roll, which was our favorite, although some pieces were 2 - 3 bites. We also ordered 1 Hot Spicy Californian roll that was about 24 smaller bite pieces, more than enough for two. We enjoyed Perfectly Steamed Edemame alongside. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Unaju eel bowl, which came with Miso soup and a salad. The Miso soup was the best I’ve had and the salad was with real lettuce, not iceberg. It was very tasty. The eel bowl was excellent with a sizeable hunk of eel and yummy Japanese pickles. Wonderful lunch!

Fun place! This has happy hour specials ALL Day! They also have daily specials. I had the Spicy Sushi with my Sapporo. Some friends ordered the Kobe Burger, which looked great. Will definitely be back to the the other menu.

SADAKO JAPANESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Rarely do I dish out 5 stars across the board like this. But wow. What an excellent find!!! Went here for my wife’s birthday & they were very accommodating of our party of 12! (Even though we only told them 10 on accident). It’s just good sushi. It gets the job done. Very affordable sushi. And everything we got was good. The sweet potato roll was to die for. I’m for sure going back.

It took about 15 minutes to get our order taken, but my God this is some of the best Japanese food I've ever tasted. The sushi is incredible, the shrimp is superb, and the deep fried veggies are absolutely delicious. I'll happily return next time I go to Ann Arbor.

Delicious, high quality sushi with vegetarian options in a casual setting with kind servers. Been there three times already and excited to go back again!

UMI SUSHI REVIEWS

We came here last week and had a great experience! I was a little worried about publicly dining, but it was clean and put my mind to ease. We did not sit close to anyone and they blocked off tables to ensure there was a distance between guests. The sushi was decent and was priced equivalently. Some rolls were fine and others were great! The sashimi was basic and the maki rolls were smaller than usual, but they're $4 so again, priced accordingly! Our server was sweet and helpful. Their drinks were good and presentation was pretty! Good local spot for some quick sushi.

I had the bento box A and the tako yaki. The food was very good. I think the tempura was fried perfectly and the sushi tasted pretty fresh! Ive never had tako yaki before, but i loved it. I cant wait to try more! The service was great too. The waitress was patient and kind.

Great service, very friendly. All of the sushi dishes were delicious. Note of caution, the Caribbean sushi is yummy, but difficult to pick up in one piece.
