"Kengo Sushi & Yakitori is an upscale Japanese cuisine restaurant in a 23-seat space with a sushi bar reserved for chef's tasting meals. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with safe COVID practices and serves authentic Japanese flavors. Kengo Sushi & Yakitori offers reservations only for Omakase (leave it up to chef) at the six-seat sushi bar. Created by Kengo Kato, the restaurant has an intimate bar alongside the open kitchen, which provides a standing waiting area for those wanting to grab a few sticks of yakitori and a beverage. "Domo Sushi is an amazing spot serving classic and signature rolls along with udon dishes and sake in contemporary digs. They have a wide variety of sushi menus and other menu items. The restaurant is excellent for a date or dinner with friends or family. The restaurant presents a pink lady, a spider roll, a dragon roll with tuna, and a few small rolls. They take the time to package everything just right to taste as good as if you were eating there. If you've never been here, try the bento box. They provide high chairs for the customers' kids. They offer a free Wi-Fi connection with a television that is available for good entertainment. Domo Sushi is wheelchair-accessible and accepts credit and debit cards.

2026 Update: Domo Sushi is located in St. James Shoppes. The restaurant prepare the dishes with fresh ingredients."

Amazing delicious spot, my first true Omakase! Chef Kengo and his team prepared an ultra lovely meal: otoro two ways, chutoro aburi, hamachi, salmon, skipjack, alfonsino, madai, waygu, chicken thigh yakitori, red wine soy lamb, grilled avocado w/wasabi relish, uni cream scallop, and lobster chicken dashi egg curd topped with caviar - everything BLEW MY MIND! Our server Ali was fantastic, speedy and professional. I will dine here EVERY time in Toledo and you should too.

This is a true gem, never would have guessed Toledo would be home to one of the best Japanese dining experiences in the Midwest but here we are. Truly exceptional in all facets. Service, dishes, attention to detail, the omakase style just puts it on another level. Add this on your bucket list, it's a must. Fine folks of Toledo, you have no idea how lucky you are to have such an experience. Or perhaps you do! Can't wait to go back.

Tons of great dishes. Try as much as you can. Yakatori items are all good. Sushi is amazing and try everything you can that is bacon wrapped. Great job Kengo.

My husband took me here for what I thought would just be a quick casual bite. But it far exceeded my expectations, especially being a resident of California. The atmosphere was nice, service was exceptional, and food was very tasty. I’m not that much of a fan of soybean paper but the grinch roll was my favorite! We ended up eating here 3x in my one week of visiting.

To be honest, it reached my expectation but still left something to be desired, such as the lack of diversity in every single plate. However, if anyone wants some American-style Japanese food, it could be the right place.

Absolutely the best Sushi in Town!!! Great service! Absolutely would recommend to everyone, even if they have a favorite place for sushi, I would give this place a try! Very fresh! Always satisfied.

First time here. And I loved everything about it. A cute serene setting with careful detail in each aspect. The wait staff was welcoming and helpful and very attentive. Food came out fast and plated expertly. Love is put into the crafting of the sushi rolls and dishes they make. You can tell they take pride in serving quality product. I enjoyed coming here for lunch, I will definitely be back to enjoy the experience and great food! Reccomend to all looking for a good sushi spot to bring friends, family, business partners, or just yourself.

My go-to sushi restaurant in Toledo. Simply cant go wrong with anything you order but some favorites are the fresh rolls, nigiri and sashimi and the avocado bomb, calamari & hot lover appetizers. Also cant forget, the Kyotoka Salad is a MUST every time we go. Family owned restaurant and they are so kind and service is always great! Highly recommend.

I love KA <3 joe makes the most delicious California crunch (no cream cheese)! The music is perfect for the atmosphere and the staff was super kind! I love chef joe.
