"The Sushi House Ventura specializes in fresh sashimi, sushi, and more. Artist Rolando Camarena began this venture from the living room of his small Ventura apartment. Recognizing the positive impact he was making, he soon found a cozy spot on Seaward Avenue right by the beach where he could open his very own sushi bar. This small business started in his home, therefore, the name of The Sushi House. All customers are greeted as friends and as if they are walking into the living room of their own home. Takeaway and catering services are available. The Sushi House is wheelchair-accessible and accepts debit cards and credit card payments.

The happy hour deal here is so worth waiting until 8PM for. It was my first time here and the rolls on the happy hour menu were better than other places. They had a roll for every craving to satisfy. They even have sashimi on the happy hour menu. The large hot sake for $2.99 is a price you can't beat anywhere nearby. I got the pineapple cocktail’s sake for $4.99, and it satisfied my sweet tooth. It gets busy for happy hour so if you don't want to wait, I recommend coming 15 minutes before it starts. We will definitely be back to place after finding this hidden gem.

Stopped in for a Lu ch date with my wife and was very impressed We’ve eaten her before but today was great! The lunch specials were super good deal. I got the one where I got like six pieces of sushi and I also got a shrimp tempura roll with it. All of the lunch specials come with a salad and miso soup. I was actually really surprised at how full the location was today. But we were able to quit quick service and really enjoyed the lunch there.

Kibo is my go-to spot! I've been a regular for years. They've got everything from fresh sashimi to yummy noodles. Their menu is huge, so there's something for everyone.

I LOVE SUSHI REVIEWS

I recently dined at I Love Sushi in Ventura and had a wonderful experience. The meal began with a comforting bowl of Miso Soup, which was perfectly seasoned and warmed me up for the rest of the meal. The Gyoza were delightful, crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful filling. For sushi, I tried the Spicy Yellow Tail Roll and the T.F.D Roll. Both rolls were delicious and showcased the freshness of the ingredients. The Spicy Yellow Tail Roll had just the right amount of heat, while the T.F.D Roll was a delightful mix of flavors and textures.

The food was indescribably amazing in every way possible. The unagi (eel), was super fresh and so was the california roll. I also liked the teriyaki beef. The service was great staff were too friendly and gave us regular check-ups in case we needed something. There were great seats and overall is a great place to meet with friends or family. 5/5. Kid-friendliness: The staff are always very friendly and patient toward children.

Excellent sushi restaurant. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Fresh fresh fresh was the fish. First time visit we will be back.

THE SUSHI HOUSE VENTURA REVIEWS

2nd time I've been there. I don't live very close by. Last time I was here was at least over a year ago, and it is consistent with how good experience I had the first time. This time, if anything, was better. Service was excellent, and the food preparation was perfect. One thing I don't like is sitting too long waiting for my next sushi roll. This place brought everything out in a nice timely manner. What I like a lot about this place, is the location and the restaurant itself. It is a nice comfortable type of sushi shack practically on the sand. There even tables outside to enjoy your meal, and space heaters if it gets cold. I took of someone's advice from a prior review and tried the avocado bomb. It was delicious, see the picture below.

Hands down BEST sushi in Ventura! We come here at least once a week. Highly recommend parking along the street, catching sunset on the beach, then coming here for dinner. Although everything I’ve ordered here has been excellent, my very favorites are the Avocado Bomb (the best I’ve ever had) and the Sushi House Roll. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly, and attentive.

I come from Camarillo to eat here, so good and amazing. The oysters and sushi salmon skin salad the yellow tail color bone the people that work there are nice too.
