I highly recommend Amy Salinas as a therapist, especially for children and teens. Her expertise in EMDR therapy combined with her specialization in working with young people makes her an invaluable resource for someone seeking support. My experience with Lisa Fanning has been wonderful. She truly listens to me and my needs and provides the support I need to grow. She's been so good to me and has been a strong shoulder to lean on when I'm struggling. She's helped me grow as a person, and I can't recommend her enough.

Lifeologie as a whole is an incredible organization. I've worked with multiple counselors, including Laura Harrison at this location. She shows a desire to know her clients deeply, and it's like speaking to a friend who is willing to tell you the hard truth, even when you don't want to hear it. Highly recommended! I have been going to The Counseling Place for a little over 4 years now on a weekly basis. I look forward to my weekly sessions with Bryan. He has done wonders for my severe panic/anxiety disorder along with helping me cope and pull myself out of chronic depression. I have been able to go medication free for the first time in 15 years for depression with the coping techniques I have been taught. I feel like a completely different person than the one that walked through those doors years ago, feeling hopeless and defeated. I thought I would be forever lost in my own misery. Boy was I wrong. It took some hard work and determination to not give up and keep pushing on. I am so grateful for the help I receive and all the staff has treated me so kindly. Never a bad experience and I still look forward to my weekly sessions.

Our family lost a member to a tragic death and when the house emptied after the funeral, we were faced with our pain and no direction. The Counseling Place was where we went for counseling. They worked with us individually and together, giving us coping strategies and over time we found our footing. Grief is not an emotion that has an instant fix and we all deal with it in different ways. Having a listening ear and a gentle nudge to take a step forward seems simple, but when one is stuck in their emotions it is everything.

3 of my kiddos and I myself have been seeing counselors here for over a year and absolutely love the staff including Marilyn, whom handles the intake, assignments, etc. The facility is great and the counselors truly go out of their way to work with scheduling and to find the right person for yourself or family.
