I finished my treatment with Maria Chi and I really enjoyed it and I’m grateful for her time. Maria was always kind, always listened and always validated my feelings. Even when she differed with me, she was kind and patient when showing me where I was wrong. She also provided useful resources and links whenever I needed help, including legal resources and even meet up groups to help my situation. Maria created a safe, peaceful environment where I found someone who listened, gave me advice, and helped me find the skills I needed to feel better. I would recommend her 100% and I’m glad she was my therapist.

Dr. Maria Chi is someone whose clinical guidance I deeply trust and respect. She has been a colleague for many years and I have always admired her therapeutic skill, range, and sensitive attunement to client needs. She is also a genuinely warm, kind person — qualities that are immediately felt by those around her, facilitating the kind of emotional safety needed for truly impactful clinical work. The process that BETA has in place make it easy to get started with treatment. I was able to decide who I wanted to work with from the therapists that had availability and expertise in the type of treatment I was looking for.
