Dr Hahnfeld and her entire staff were amazing! We had a list of questions, possible complications, best/ worse case scenarios regarding before, during, and after surgery, and she answered them all. Dr Hahnfeld is direct and sugar coat things which we loved. She and her staff also answered multiple questions we messaged them on my chart, really quickly. Her assistant, that assisted with the surgery, met with us each day in the hospital and was just as thorough. Dr Hahnfeld talked with family after surgery and explained how things went and what to expect. Our case was referred to her threw the ER and she scheduled us for a clinic appointment immediately, which also impressed us. The surgery went well and as a result of her expertise and surgical skills the recovery period was shorter and went better than we had anticipated. We would recommend her to anyone needing a Nephrologist.

August 2019 I was diagnosed with kidney cancer in my Left kidney which required removal of the kidney in Oct 2019. Dr. Hahnfeld, her medical team, SSM Healths' Chaplain were so comforting and Professional throughout the whole time I was at St. Mary's hospital. Very direct on what is going on, what your options are, explains questions thoroughly. She includes the family with you for support. Everything was explained so well and with concern to all matters. You could not find a better urology surgeon Thank you everyone.

Was seen in a timely manner. I was told that appointments were being scheduled over a month out but I was able to get an appointment in less than 2 weeks. First time meeting Dr. Paolone and I was impressed with how he put me at ease, took the time to show me my CT scans and explain the problem and explain the procedure I need to resolve it. He anticipated all my questions and answered them very clearly.

Made me feel very comfortable, explained everything to me and answered my questions with what I felt was great detail. Made sure I understood everything. The nursing staff was awesome and took very good care of me.

Everyone was very friendly & helpful.Dr. listened to my concerns & made suggestions for several different options.
