Dr. Michael Nurzia was referred to be during an extremely difficult period in my life. Essentially, I was dealing with a “cascade” of health issues. Dr. Nurzia was the sixth doctor I had seen and I was very fed-up by the time I saw him. He was extremely patient, kind, knowledgeable, and the best doctor I had seen. He was able to get my issues under control while always treating me like a person. He is very capable and caring. I have another issue and didn’t think twice about going back to him!

Dr. Nurzia has provided monthly urology care for my mother for the past 3 years. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him for his expertise, bedside manner and compassionate care. His office staff are friendly and efficient. Handicapped parking and accessibility of the building and could be improved.

Dr. Nurzia is a very professional and knowledgeable Dr. Is office manners are superior and his surgery skills are extremely above average. He is the best!..

I've been a patient of Dr. Santarosa for several years. I started seeing him as a result of an enlarged prostate discovered by a doctor doing a required annual employment physical. I was recommended by a coworker. Since then I've been treated by Dr. Santarosa for the enlarged prostate, prostatitus, UTI's and elevated PSA. My surgeries include two hydrocele repairs and prostate laser surgery. All were successful with no complications and I'm doing well. Dr. Santarosa is a gifted, professional doctor and surgeon. I highly recommend him. I've found him willing to listen to my concerns and consider my opinions with regards to my treatment. After every surgery and office visit I remind Dr. Santarosa how glad I am that he's my urologist and wish him God's blessings. Also, I've found the nurses and medical assistants to be caring and professional. With regards to to the office staff, they've been friendly and courteous. Never a problem. Thanks Nick P. for recommending me to Doctor Santarosa!

Wish I had met him earlier as now I moved to Florida and miss his expertise. Dr. Santarosa is one of the best urologists I have been to and all I can say is that I wish CT were closer to FL. He's the best.

Dr. Santarosa has taken outstanding care for me for almost 20 years -- and, with his help, and now with fingers crossed, I have not had kidney stones in over 16.

I was under the care of Dr. Karellas for three years when he was affiliated with Stamford Hospital. He was always courteous, responsive, caring, and highly skilled in monitoring my relatively low risk cancer. Unfortunately, he decided to switch locations and I am no longer a patient. However, he is an excellent doctor and the two negative comments I read on this thread are perplexing to me, and not at all aligned with the very positive experience I had with him.

Dr. Karellas is a top surgeon in his field and has always been available to me for any questions I had.I had my prostate removed and the recovery is between 1 to 1 weeks. I was recovered in a week and I did not have any pain at all I would highly recommend Doctor Karellas and his team to have this surgery.

Dr. Karellas and his staff are exceptional. They will treat your issue professionally and mitigate any pain or discomfort you are having. I trust him (I am the son of a doctor) and highly recommend him.
