I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2009 and had Radical prostatectomy surgery, August 31. 2009. I can't say enough GOOD THINGS about Dr. Rippentrop. Here it is July 2020 and I am still so, very grateful that the late Dr. Michael Welton referred me to Dr. Rippentrop to do my surgery. And since my surgery, I have told anyone who asked me, about my surgery, that Dr Rippentrop is the #1choice. Every yearly checkup since my surgery has been excellent! PSA numbers are very very (cancer free) low. Dr. Paul Richardson is my Urologist here in Waterloo. Dr. Richardson's Bedside Manner is identical to Dr. Rippentrop's Bedside Manner. Ne Plus Ultra! I am so very grateful to have had such Five Star medical care and attention. Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough. So I'll just say it one more time. Thank You Dr. Jonathan Rippentrop.

I highly recommend Dr. Rippentrop. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and I decided to have the surgery to remove the prostrate. Dr Rippentrop first explained the many other options (instead of the surgery) but when I decided the surgery was the best option for me, he talked my wife and I through the process and answered all our questions. He has a great bedside manner and has performed this surgery many times. So if you want a doctor who is very experienced, takes time to explain things to you in great deal, has a great bedside manner, and is an excellent communicator, Dr. Rippentrop is the right choice!!!!

Excellent surgeon with very good personality. Explained everything in detailed terms that I could understand. My surgery was uncomplicated and I recovered very quickly.
