TOP 3 WINTHROP S. RISK, MD - CEDAR RAPIDS NEUROLOGISTS, PC REVIEWS
Dr. Risk is an excellent neurologist who is willing to diagnose *and* treat conditions that other neurologists won't. He treats pain aggressively, and daily battles insurance companies to get treatments covered for his patients. And for some things, he finds a way around the insurance company to get his patients relief. (Nothing illegal, of course!) When you go, plan to stay there a while. He often runs behind - for a very good reason: he actually takes *time* with each patient. He doesn't tell you to make a separate appt just because a new issue is discovered. He really and truly listens to you, and is willing to hear your thoughts on what course of treatment to pursue. He'll even look up whatever web article you're talking about, and discuss it with you. Also, he will try to make you laugh. I can't remember a visit in which I didn't laugh at least once. He says quirky things, makes puns, and tells jokes & stories, just to share the humor. His "bedside manner" is absolutely delightful. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with fibromyalgia, migraines, nerve pain, or any other neurological condition.
Dr. Risk was extremely patient with my Mother. On a New Year's Day, he was on the phone hourly, talking my Mom out of a severe panic attack/drug interaction. I will never forget how good he was to my Mother explaing her health complications. Thank You Dr. Risk, and Thank your Family for everything they have done for Cedar Rapids.
I had so many doctors doing do much and nothing was working. I walked in with migraine and walked out with understanding. Has help me find my life again.

TOP 3 THOMAS ROGERS, DO - PHYSICIANS’ CLINIC OF IOWA REVIEWS
Dr Rodgers has been the only neurologist that has gotten me to less migraine free days than other neurologists I've seen. I've been to 4 others and most want to keep me where I was instead of trying to aim for a better pain relief for my flare ups and get to the bottom of the triggers I'm having. I'd recommend him everytime.
Dr. Thomas Rogers is the BEST. He is very thorough and punctual and patient with my 80 year old father, which is very important to us.
I have chronic, medication resistant migraines. Dr. Rogers listens very well, takes thorough notes, and doesn't give up.
