3 Best Veterinary Clinics in Baton Rouge, LA

My husband and I brought our sick, elderly dog in to be seen after hours at the emergency vet here. The vet who helped up (who was a younger woman with brown hair, I’m sorry I didn’t remember her name!) was SO kind and thoughtful, and she treated us compassionately during a difficult night for us. We decided, with her guidance, that letting him go peacefully was the correct but difficult decision. She was very professional, as was all the staff and she let us have as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our baby of 12+ years. She provided us lots of information and was very upfront about costs and her opinions. While we are obviously devastated with the outcome, we are at peace knowing Ricoh is at peace and with the team here we felt like we had made the right choice. I wanted to add a picture or two of Ricoh in his prime, the way he’d want to be remembered

I've taken pets here for emergency care before and gotten great service. But when my poor Praline had a blockage in her digestive system they were so caring. They seemed to really love her as an individual. And as scared as I was leaving her with "strangers" for a surgery, they did a wonderful job and she really took to Dr. Crawford. I'm so thankful that they were there, during a historic snow storm, to do what was needed for my baby.

Excellent, compassionate care of Lucy Weilbaecher. We really appreciate your fair pricing and loving, gentle care. The front desk staff are professional and Dr. Smith even gave Lucy three blankets before I even asked, she's always cold.Especially when she gets iv fluids. Photo 1 in review by Scott

Caring and friendly staff. I brought my 9-year-old Jack Russell there for her first vet treatment as a puppy. Still keeping her healthy and happy to this day... she just loves to go there!
