West Lake Animal Hospital

We have just moved to town and needed to find a vet for my senior dog. I felt Dr. Houmes was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to treat my dog. She also had reviewed my dog's record sent by our previous vet. The technician was also very knowledgeable. Everyone was very friendly. I would recommend this practice to anyone. I also liked that they had a large waiting room with one side dedicated to cats and one side dedicated to dogs. Everything was very clean.

Warmth and care when you step in the door, from the reception area to treatment rooms. I’ve had to help 2 pets leave the world this year and the care and love these people have given my pets and me is extraordinary. I highly recommend this practice.

They take their fear free certification seriously and work to give animals a positive experience at each visit. That sets them apart, because you can get good medical care at many vets but not the kind of compassionate approach that West Lake has in addition to their veterinary services. It's also a comfortable facility for both animals and humans with ample parking and not on a busy street. Outstanding!
