More than anything, I wanted to choose a videographer who wouldn't make a cheesy/boring video I regretted. However, as soon as I connected with Deepa after checking our the website, I knew FIlmtwist were a perfect fit. They made sure all my questions were answered leading up to the event, and took initiative to familiarize themselves with the both our story as a couple as well as the timeline spanning several days. They had worked on lots of Indian weddings and were well-versed in the complicated rituals that would be taking place. For each event, the Filmtwist team arrived to the venue right on time (earlier than even myself and the guests!). They were not at all disruptive, even with all the cameras and equipment, and made me feel so comfortable that often I forgot they were even there. They coordinated with my photographer seamlessly so I didn't have to communicate my location and other details to multiple people, which is a godsend on such a hectic day. Tien often directed my husband and me on how to pose in a way that felt natural, which I really appreciated, as cameras tend to make me nervous and self-conscious. The finished product of their work is brilliant and well worth the wait (and the $$)! Filmtwist was able to send hours worth of finished videos to me about 6 weeks after.
