3 Best Vietnamese Restaurants in Chesapeake, VA

An authentic Vietnamese restaurant run by a local family with Southeast Asian roots. True ethnicity reflected in the Vietnamese spoken fluently in the kitchen and by the staff as they quickly serve up freshly cooked, hot traditional Vietnamese dishes, from basic pho (noodle soup with your choice of meat) to delicious appetizers like goi cuon (spring rolls) or other rice/noodle dish specialties. Having served in Vietnam in the 1990s and dined on Vietnamese cuisine regularly, I can credibly state that Pho Da Lat is one of the most original Vietnamese restaurants in the greater Hampton Roads area. The four stars for atmosphere reflects the basic decor found at the restaurant, not flashy but providing a comfortable setting for a family to enjoy an Asian dining experience. Primary focus at this establishment is on the food and service as well as a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

I've been there so many times already, and I think it's the BEST Pho in Virginia because the noodles never taste sour. The broth is perfectly balanced, and I always ask for fish sauce and chili oil to enhance the flavor. Btw there's always one person who handles everything at front, so when I am done, I just go up front and pay. It’s a simple and casual eatery.

If you like classic Pho this is the place to go. The beef bowl didn't disappoint and the appetizers and curry were delicious. Small place, big taste.

My new GO-TO Pho shop. A cool atmosphere, friendly staff, and the Pho... impressive. I check out Pho places everywhere i visit and this is hands down, one of the best I have had the pleasure of enjoying. Extremely flavorful broth, fresh clean veggies, perfectly cooked meat and noodles, im pretty sure they even made the chili oil in house.

Their tofu chow mein stands out, with savory tofu and crisp veggies. It's a delightful stop for locals or commuters seeking delicious food and friendly service.

This place is DELICIOUS! This will be on my weekly rotation from here out. Spring rolls, phö ga and pad Thai were on our menu. It all came out fast and was just delightful!
