My name is AnnMarie & I'm a Family Nurse Practitioner. I rode a roller coaster in March of 2024 & ended up with a very complex set of symptoms that over 15 physicians & nurse practitioners couldn't conceive of a diagnosis for or a treatment plan to help me. Instead, I was prescribed over 20 different medications in their futile attempt to mask my pain. I was prescribed muscle relaxants, antidepressants, narcotics, & cardiac medicines. None of the above helped me & fortunately God blessed me by pointing me in the direction of Dr. Jes. She is truly a testament to her profession. Her intellect, genuine kindness, empathy & gentle touch all completely outshine any other healthcare provider that I've ever met, (and I've worked with or been a patient to a lot of them). She is truly the whole package & as a result I will consistently be advising my patients to start with acupuncture. If you're on the fence, consider this your push- Doctors Jess and Jodi have a fantastic team and it's hard to even put into words the results I've experienced at their capable hands. I'd been told by medical professionals that my symptoms were normal and offered only birth control and/or antidepressants as a method of treating them. Finally, on my first visit at AcuChatt, I was given validation of the problems (they are common, not normal!) I had been experiencing and a treatment plan to treat the root of the problems. I've been given so much more than just relief, but also a better connection to my body and a feeling better/more at home in my body than I have in years- I almost forgot what it felt like!
