If you are reading reviews about Lighthouse Recovery of Texas, then you are probably a member of the club nobody wants to join. Originally, my review started with how our journey through the insanity of addiction led us to Lighthouse. I changed my mind because we all have a story and ours isn’t unique. Your story is what brought you here. Be grateful it did. Never one at a loss for words, I struggle to adequately convey how much the people at Lighthouse mean to me. My son is a current client, and I am leaving this review in real time. The level of engagement and confidence I am seeing in him is proof this program is a good fit. I dare to say “this time feels different”. ;) Every member of the staff with whom I have had contact has been open, compassionate and patient. I have come to rely heavily on the expertise and guidance of case workers Michael and Frankie and clinical supervisor Nora to support my son’s sobriety and life of recovery in the healthiest way. Read the reviews and know this: The Lighthouse program IS unique. It is real life. It is tailored to your person and you. The staff support system is made of people who have lived the struggle and believe in the fight. They work 24/7 to give the highest level of care to clients and their families. I don’t know what I’d do without them and I’m grateful to have a Lighthouse Recovery of Texas chapter in my story.

Lighthouse was a blessing from the moment the owner Mike offered his time, understanding, patience and commitment to my son and our family. They have an incredible team approach and weekly follow ups to help the family understand and support each other. They went above and beyond to make sure my son was safe, accountable and healthy. We were unable to provide him with a car and getting to work, doctor appointments, meetings and gatherings was never an issue. When visiting, we were welcomed with open arms and still stay in touch. Also, we had a wedding during his treatment time and his case manager Michael flew home with him so he could feel safe and participate with the family. This week my son will be 1 year sober and getting him to Lighhouse was crucial to both his health and ours. He learned to be more respectful, responsible and most importantly to learn to live a healthier lifestyle. Thank you for your commitment and never giving up on him!!

Lighthouse has been the biggest blessing to our family and I’m so thankful everyday that we found them. The staff is incredible, from the owner to case managers, house managers, clinical team, etc, everyone communicates and functions as a team. Our son is thriving and has found his joy again in sobriety. The model lighthouse uses is so affective, moving through recovery in a real life setting and it makes all the difference. I have and will continue to recommend lighthouse to anyone in need of help breaking free from addiction.

Henry Mack, is an amazing person. Trustworthy, easy going. Easy to talk too. Brian keel is great at breaking down the big book. Lauren my therapist is amazing, easy going amazing listener. Will is great at getting results and an a great listener Nicci my house manager is AWESOME!!! She's just BADASS. Caring, nurchering, I trust her 100,%. I can go to her for any reason. Very resourceful. Every one at DPR has been very helpful in my recovery and maintaining my sobriety. For that I am grateful.

This is a great facility!! I appreciate the individual attention I have received, as a parent. Will and Bryan have assisted my son and put my mind at ease when hard situations arose. I am so thankful for the help and support my son has receiving from Discovery Point Retreat...The whole team is so great!

I've been at Discovery Point Retreat for 4 months and I couldn't have picked a better place to go for recovery. I've stayed in 3 of their sober living houses, under 2 house managers and 5 peer leads. By far, Henry Mack is the absolute best house manager and so much more. He's been a mentor, a tell like it is no matter what and takes care of the ones in his house. Henry does so much and gets very little recognition for every he does. He does so much because he believes in us! God bless you Henry! I hope I can carry on everything you've taught me here.
