COMMUNAL REVIEWS

They were able to seat us immediately when we arrived a few minutes early to our reservation with our party of six. We got a couple of starters, fried cheese (excellent) and carrot hummus. Communal recommends sharing everything so we ordered pork chops, salmon, and a couple of surf and turf plates (the best). For side dishes we decided to share sugar snap peas (so good), squash, and funeral potatoes. At the end we shared a strawberry raspberry crisp for dessert. We should have ordered two as that was the crown jewel of the night. Service was excellent in that we always had our server available to us but knowing not to invade too much. Looking forward to coming back again.

Came to communal with a friend during my lunch break from work and I was very impressed! The service was quick and great; the environment was nice. I got the fried chicken bahn mi with fries and it was delicious! The chicken was so crispy, the sauce was so good, the fries were so fresh and well seasoned. Overall- loved it! Excited to go back and try more.

We have been to Communal for dinner and loved it so we went for brunch today. It was amazing. We had the fried chicken and biscuit, sour dough pancake with peach compote, BLT, and banana bread. Everything was amazing.

BLACK SHEEP CAFE REVIEWS

Absolutely delicious and the service top notch. Our server Sam super nice and attentive was on top of her game tonight. We tried one of their salads, the jowl pork tacos, their lavender honey fry bread, wine, their cactus pear lemonade and their filet mignon brucetta. Overall a great time at the location the food is great and big portions so you could share some of these dishes between two people. The prices were affordable and the vibe was just so nice you could have a conversation and hear each other. The decor was also nice. We will be back when in town.

In the area and decided to give this place a try for lunch. Cozy atmosphere with delicious food! Hostess and server were friendly and attentive. My whole meal was exactly what I was craving. The chipotle sauce that came with our fries was sooo good! Loved the sweet potato wedges with my chicken sandwich, too. Even the ice tea was delicious! Hubby was happy with his blue cheese burger. We both loved the fry bread instead of a bun on our sandwiches. It was all so good.

I was intrigued by the opportunity to taste Native American food. I am a very picky/boring eater so was feeling that it would be a challenge to find something I like. Much to my happy surprise, the green chili stew was delicious! A very hearty, earthy flavor and completely satisfying. The servers were upbeat and efficient. This was a treat. Give it a try.

Amazing breakfast spot. The French toast came topped with several variations of fruit. The Quesadilla was fantastic as well. I tried their house made syrup and It was good, but I preferred maple still for the French toast. The fruit dipped in the house made was a great combo.

This is a favorite date night spot for me and my husband. My husband is from the southeast and I have spent at least 15 years living in the southeast. For southern inspired cuisine here in Provo, UT, this place hits all right notes. We love the atmosphere and the service is always fantastic. We’ve been back more than once and we are excited to try their brunch.

Came here this past weekend. I ordered the steak and frites. It was cooked well and was tasty! My husband ordered the wings. He said they were hot and the price was great. He also ordered a side of Mac and Cheese which was tasty as well. For dessert we had the beignets which were warm and delicious! The place looks great! I’d come back for sure.
