Service was immaculate phil the owner is extremely kind and quick. the kitchen staff is always fast accurate even at the most busy i can make modifications they do it perfectly. the food is authentic and delicous i live like 20 minutes away and i often make the 40 minute drive there and back for the great food. parking is a nightmare but i cant blame this amazing restaurant for center streets bad parking options 12/10 would and will go here again. also food is insanenly affordable and well priced. the building is fun and is always playing some anime or Japanese show its great for the culture. it would also make a good date spot.

Delicious! We've never tried this type of Japanese food before and it was delicious. The pork cutlet was tender and perfectly fried. It paired nicely with the rice and sauces. It doesn't sound like theist appetizing thing but it was comforting and delicious. Will definitely return again. Very simple vibe and they had one tv playing Pokemon and one tv playing Japanese dramas with subtitles.

I have been here a few times, every time the food has been great. The service is awesome. The restaurant is clean and condiments are easy to access.

Pleasant atmosphere and server. Nice presentation of food and tasty! Had the crystal shrimp hand roll. Offered a special buy one get one on the Las Vegas roll, ordered to take home. Will come back again.

We got the combination tempura, dragon roll, lemonade roll and the combination yaki Udon. They were all sooo good and delicious! No left over to take home! We will be coming back to try other menu items.

Sushi is really good here! Highly recommend! They also have some awesome deals Monday-Thursday 4:30-8:30.

The happy sumo is a good and “fancy-ish” restaurant. We got the Tuna Tataki and it was 5/5! The service is good and the restaurant is kept pretty clean as well. The sushi tastes fresh and that Tuna was the best tuna i’ve ever had. I’d recommend to try this place out.

We love Happy Sumo! The food was delicious. The service was impeccable! The atmosphere is spot on. It's nice that they have some secluded tables, so it feels like you're the only ones there. Their sushi bar is beautiful and it's fun to be able to watch their chefs make the sushi rolls. Their Tuna Tatake is the BEST I've EVER had!! Their lettuce rolls are also top notch! We went on a special deal they have on Sundays with many items being buy one get one free. Being able to get sushi for four adults with appetizers and entrees for a hundred bucks was quite a bargain!.

Delicious!! I’ve only been here twice so far, but I will certainly be back. The sushi is absolutely incredible, so many options that you really can’t go wrong with. Very easy to get your fill. We started with the miso soup, which set us up very well for the sushi. Wonderful service, and even better food.
