MAX TAVERN REVIEWS
I came here for happy hour on Sunday night and was not disappointed! It has plenty of parking and quick to get to off the highway. There was a happy hour menu and drink specials available in the bar area where the wait staff was extremely attentive. The beef tenderloin for $8 was an amazing deal and delicious. The options for happy hour are pretty extensive and all very good. I recommend stopping in.
Shrimp cocktails to start. Perfect temperature. Great sauce. Large shrimp. Filet Mignon was very tasty. Swordfish ordered simply grilled as opposed to the other version on the menu that would have been served with what I felt would have just masked the true taste of one of my favorite cuts of gems from the sea.
Stopped in for a drink after a long drive from Maine. The staff was friendly and attentive. Sophisticated appearance as you view the bar area, decor and the uniforms the staff wear. A nice spot to get the driving/riding angst out of your system. Tried the shrimp ceviche as well. Great presentation.

CAL'S WOODFIRED GRILL AND BAR REVIEWS
Great place. Good atmosphere, comfortable decor, friendly staff. Had the oysters and mussels for an appetizer, mussels were fantastic (a very good white sauce) and for dinner had the filet mignon. The filet was so tender you could have cut it with a spoon. Highly recommend this place.
Enjoyed a wonderful and very tasty meal this afternoon. The place had a good crowd and the great waitstaff kept everything running smoothly. 'Margo' was particularly helpful. We each had the Red Snapper and it was amazing.
I went here with my grandparents and boyfriend to celebrate my birthday! I thought the inside was so lovely and private when seated in a booth. The food was delicious! Wide variety of drinks and food. The waitress was beyond kind and attentive. Would definitely go back!

IHOP REVIEWS
Family dinner. My family eats at IHOP frequently. We love it there. It’s clean. The service is great. The food is delicious. They serve breakfast food, well known for their PANCAKES; as well as lunch and dinner options. We usually always get breakfast food when we go. Their pancakes are the BEST! They are moist and very large! They have many flavored pancakes to choose from as well as plain. Their omelets are HUGE, at least a foot long and filled to the max. From ham and cheese to a southwestern style inlet to a veggie. Eggs Benedict is my personal favorite. Eggs are fluffy and moist. Bacon crisp. Sausage tender. Toast never burnt! Can’t say enough about IHOP. Oh, and their coffee is delicious. You get your very own carat with 2-3 cups worth in it. If in town, stop by and enjoy a meal. Highly recommended!!! - Crafty Cowkitty
This really hit the spot after going quite a few hours that day without being able to eat. The trainee who assisted my dad and me was nice and cheerful and the food was great. It was my first time ever going to an IHOP from what I remember and I'll definitely return many times in the future.
PANCAKES FOR BREAKFAST. I feel that IHOP has the best pancakes if you are in the mood for pancakes I suggest going here. We were seated right away and our order was taken in a timely manner, food was served within the guidelines and it tasted good. - Darcy
