VILLAGE TAVERN REVIEWS
First of all, can I please get some help with a standing novation from the congregation!!!! I have never come in here before drove past multiple times and always wondered how the food was. Well, last night I did, and I'm lying. Lord, strike me down. The food was BREATH TAKING. I ordered the North Carolina trout, never have I had trout before, and this place right here makes me want it all the time. It was so good, so tender, so flavorful. My server was the absolute best, too. This place is now on my favorites list. I will probably be in there tonight again because I can't stop thinking about it.
Here right now and we've been a number of times in the past. Hands down, best calamari I've ever had. Their crab dip is phenomenal as well. Their carrot cake is also delicious. Haven't had anything not good. Their service is always top notch and their food is always of the highest quality. Highly recommend for anyone.
I had the Colorado Chicken and it was delicious. Perfectly seasoned. Huge portion. Nice presentation on the plate. Our server, Wendy was great. Wendy was very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming. The complementary bread was warm, light and fresh.

THE OLD FOURTH STREET FILLING STATION REVIEWS
The food and atmosphere were exceptional. Service was a bit lackluster. Wish we hadn't had to ask repeatedly for drinks, or wait so long for the check and check-out. The ribeye was fork tender and extraordinarily tasty. The shrimp & grits as good as any we've ever had. We'll go again and again.
My first time trying this place with my buddy and i was not disappointed. My burger and the creme brulee Cheesecake was so good. My friend got the salmon BLT and the chocolate pecan pie and he loved it. Will definitely return.
Excellent. Great Ambiance , food and service. Eat on patio in good weather. Nice menu. Delicious food.

SWEET POTATOES REVIEWS
Dropped in this quaint little place due to a review I saw by the foodie HungryBlackMan. The food - The flavor is immaculate on the Cajun Turkey burger. Never had collard greens on a burger before, but it was amazing. My wife had the wings and they were pseudo bland but meshed well with the mambo sauce. Be careful of that sauce though. It’s spicy!!!! The service - Drew was the coolest guy and gave us wonderful recommendations. He knows his stuff when it comes to food. Very attentive and caring. Atmosphere - Reminds me of a good Southern bar on one side, but a Sunday dinner with the family on the other. Parking: Free spots available on the street. Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid friendly.
The ambiance and atmosphere are upscale casual and intimate. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. I sat at the bar because I was in a hurry and it was full service. From the moment we sat down, Sam was fully ON! She conducted a wick assessment: is this your first time, she asked and from there, customized our experience by recommending starters, confirming our entree selection and even accepting the offer of bartenders choice for my drink. I am coming back!
The service was good. We ordered BBQ Shrimp & Grits and Savannah Red Rice. Both dishes were delicious.
