I learned about Michael Murphy when I wanted to frame some art. What a surprise when I showed up to a beautiful, tasteful, relaxing and exhilarating art gallery. I bought a beautiful painting. Now Michael has been doing masterful framing for 40 years. Currently his gallery highlights yogi naya sculpture of Dragan Bogdan and collage by Jon Daveport. Also paintings by Christy Kinard. The gallery is wheel chair access, low noise.

Michael Murphy Art Gallery is a must-visit for art lovers. The gallery has an impressive and varied collection, as well and shows that are very memorable! The space is inviting, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Every visit offers a fresh and engaging experience. My two most recent visits I was able to meet Elena Bond as well watch Elenor Blair live paint! Lovely Place I highly recommended.

This gallery is a true representation of grassroots Ybor art. It has not lost its touch with the community and still provides services like art classes and serves as a platform for spoken word artists. I come here frequent to see what’s new on the walls because they are always rotating and keeping it exciting! Guillermo and Marcolina will always take the time for a small talk and love to tell stories of the area and their art. Truly one of a kind place for locals and tourists alike.

Beautiful gallery in the heart of Ybor City Tampa! A hidden gem. Amazing collection! Love coming by when I’m in the area. Owners are super friendly and welcoming. Must visit.
