This is my usual bagel restaurant, after trying a new shop closer to my house today (Jeff's bagel) I will continue to drive the extra distance because The Bagel Bakery has the Best bagels around.

What a wonderful experience! We were visiting from Texas and stopped in for breakfast. Everything was so delicious! The staff was so polite and put together despite the line being almost out the door. It appeared to be a well oiled machine. No customers seemed annoyed by the wait, like they knew it was worth it. We got the hot ham and cheese on everything with American, hot ham and cheese on plain with Swiss, plain with strawberry cream cheese, cinnamon raisin with plain cream cheese and a garlic with plain cream cheese. I wanted a bag of the garlic bagels to go but unfortunately we didn’t have time to wait in line again. I especially loved the ladies playing mah Jong at one table and a book discussion at the next table. If I lived here, this would be my regular spot.

This is one of the better small bakeries in Gainesville. Easily found right next to Publix with a good sized menu. They do more than just the classic bagley and smear, offering bundt cakes, focaccia bread a select coffees. They also have loyalty punch cards to reward return business (and protect your wallet). Please stop by.

LUKES NEW YORK BAGEL SHOP REVIEWS

This is my new favorite hang out with my friends. I love the atmosphere, I wish it had a bit more people but I came during the day so there was mostly older folks, but thats okay! Staff was so nice and engaging, will be coming again.

Yesterday, I went to Luke's new location for the first time and had a great time. My friends and I all got lunch with our youth leader and we really enjoyed our time. I loved my asiago bagel with the sun-dried tomato cream cheese. I have seen reviews of people saying that they feel the couple dollars extra for cream cheese is over priced, but I really don't mind because its specialty and it doesn't make my meal much more. I live really close and I've always been told I live dangerously close to Sonic, but I really think its "I live dangerously close to Luke's Bagels". I had a really wonderful time and this may end up being my friend group's new spot.

Luke's bagels has always been a great place when it comes to food and now with the new atmosphere at their new location and things are on the up and up! My team recently connected with them for two events and they provided some great food with plenty to go around. During one of the events where we hosted students and families along with their mentors, they were very accommodating to us with the special needs we asked for. If you are looking for a place which is going to provide good food, then go here. Looking for a good atmosphere, go here. Yes, you might look at the price and shy away, I'm telling you not to. Go all in and connect with the Luke's bagels crew over in Uptown village.

I’ve been visiting Bageland for about 18 years since my family and I moved to Gainesville, and it never disappoints! The new owners are incredibly kind and welcoming — they make everyone feel at home. Their bagels, muffins, and croissants are always delicious. My go-to is the smoked salmon breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and I always grab a few muffins and croissants to take home. Amazing prices and consistently great service. I’ll keep coming back.

This is the place to go if you're feeling like a great, classic breakfast! Never disappoints.
