3 Best Bagel Shops in Paterson, NJ

If one wants to get their bagel fix, then this is the place located in Fair Lawn. Greeted by the staff, my partner and I arrived today for a small bite at River Road Hot Bagels. Their bagels are daily made on-site and have a lot of options. There’s a lot of foot traffic as it is takeout only with no seating indoors. Greeted upon arrival, we decided on a wheat bagel with plain cream cheese and a salt bagel with vegetable cream cheese. The bagels were light, fluffy with a decent crisp, good size, and tasty. The counter staff is fast, courteous, and accurate. Price is comparable to the area. We were first-timers today but won’t be our last, as we can recommend this place.

Superrrr picky about my taylor ham, egg, and cheese and can say they delivered what I was looking for. I am scared to deviate from my regular place but was not disappointed. everything was perfectly placed on the bagel and flavor was delicious. honestly recommend salt, pepper, ketchup because mine was lacking in the salt department but still really good. everyone was nice and it was very quick after we placed our order. actual bagel was fluffy and tasted fresh... enjoyed it and recommend giving it a try.

I recently visited River Rd Bagels while traveling, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Despite not being familiar with the area, I discovered this gem in my search for quality bagels. The service was outstanding, with a particularly exceptional lady who assisted us with genuine warmth and friendliness. The bagels themselves were phenomenal—perfectly baked and incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area or just passing through!.

Got a sesame bagel toasted with butter and coffee. The man at the counter was very nice. I usually don’t like toasted bagels at shops because they don’t brown them enough but it was toasted perfectly and steaming hot when I opened it to eat it a few minutes later. Coffee was good too.

I thought it was just bagels but I stopped in saw burritos and tacos and so much more so I got a chicken burrito and it was absolutely delicious with real homemade sauce on the side and everything fresh made as the people were so nice gave me extra sauce and it is such a casual chill comfortable atmosphere I’ve already been back for more bc it’s so good!.

Bagels are delectable, can't review any of the other thing but so far the texture and toasted exterior of the bagels make this place one of a kind. The prices were a little iffy but other than that, I look forward to eating here again.
