PETITE MADELINE BAKERY REVIEWS

This is a really nice bakery. I stopped by to get a few sweets for a birthday celebration and I was very impressed with the slices of cake. I got the key lime tower which was my favorite! It had the gram cracker bottom and tasted amazing. We also tried the berry dessert special, as well as the strawberry passion. All 3 were delicious. The girl serving me was fast and friendly, the dining area was clean, and the coffee was on point. Definitely a nice spot to visit when passing through.

I stopped by for breakfast today and had such a lovely experience! Makenna (I hope I got the spelling right!) took my order, and she's just a delightful, friendly young lady. Mackie was super sweet, too—she brought my coffee and the All Day Bum to my table with a smile. I ordered the Greek Bowl, and let me tell you, it was filling and bursting with flavor! It's such a great way to start the day!

I was looking for a place to have lunch and found this spot on google maps: definitely did not disappoint. Nice and chill atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly delicious food. I went for a salad but the selection of other options like sandwiches, toasts, etc is big. Go check it out when in Oceanside.

This is Oceanside at it's best. I had the best breakfast Sunday that I've had in a long time. This little restaurant/ bakery is a MUST VISIT spot. The menu was a awesome mix of old favorites, eggs, bacon, French Toast with mix of delicious whip cream delights. Strawberries and blueberries and be sure to come hungry. The customers were a mix of young and young at heart, families and those who are flying solo that day. Got the egg/bacon omelette with hash browns and my sweetheart got the stuffed French Toast. We got custard filling. You order at the front register and find yourself a seat. Your food is delivered with a friendly smile. The prices were very reasonable and it's all the coffee you like. You have to serve yourself. The Bakery was well stocked, and fresh. We left with a bag of sweet morsels to enjoy later that evening. Overall I loved the place. Food-EXCELLENT service-SUPERIOR atmosphere- WELCOMING.

It was a last minute decision to stop here for breakfast and glad we did! O'side gem for sure! Pastries were a 10/10. Eggs Benedict were on point. Omelet was delicious,hash browns needed some salt but will definitely come here again. OMG cheesecake with berries...best ever!!!

Favorite breakfast/lunch spot. Lovely pastries. My favorite is the Palmers. I had pancakes with berry sauce and fresh berries. Excellent. They also have a coffee bar and fresh sandwiches.

The pork ribs in green chili sauce at San Luis Rey Bakery and Restaurant are absolutely delightful! The tender pork ribs are perfectly cooked, smothered in a flavorful green chili sauce that has just the right amount of spice. The sides of cheesy refried beans and fluffy Spanish rice complement the main dish beautifully, making it a well-rounded meal. The fresh, warm tortillas served on the side are ideal for soaking up the delicious sauce. The cozy ambiance and friendly service further enhance the dining experience. A must-try for lovers of authentic Mexican cuisine!

We just love this place. We go about 3 times a month . The staff are wonderful kind people, the best. It’s just a neat place. Prices are very reasonable and they even give a senior discount. But I love their food and a pastry for desert. Is it the Ritz Carlton? No. But it’s just a neat place and sometimes on Sundays they even have small bands playing music. Personally I love their beef Taco and cheese Enchilada combo, or the Avocado omelette for Breakfast. Also their coffee is decent.

Friendly service. Clean, cooling, nice environment to dine in. Great food and pricing. Ordered 2 kinds of salads and a horchata. We bought baked goods in addition to dining in. Everything was superb.
