I kept hearing about this place for a few months, so I decided to try it ... my intend was to try their sweet potato pie which has been highly recommended, and unfortunately they had runout of it, while I was waiting on line trying to make a decision, someone ordered this cheesecake which was not in the menu that day, he highly recommended it too and so glad I decided to ordered it, definitely the best cheesecake everything was fresh, crisp and delicious about it. The Roseberry coblet was great too... definitely one of those hidden gem places and there's much more to try. Staff was amazing as well.

To my surprise, l received a call from Tedra, the owner of Mommie Helen's. Tedra was responding to my review. I appreciate her concern. There's not many if any owners calling you with regards to your reviews. Tedra not only took the time to read my concerns but, to my surprise, offered to make it right. Thank you for taking the time to read the customer's reviews. There aren't very many owners that care about customer service anymore!. My girlfriends mom loves carrot cake, and so does my brother. So, for her birthday, I called him and asked him where the best carrot cakes were. He gave me a couple of suggestions, but the 1st place he highly recommended was Mommie Helen's. It was for sure a great choice, she loved the cake and she's very picky. Great cakes and service.
