This place is amazing. Chicken Katsu all the way! My father is from Oahu, and he said this is as close as you can get to going back home. Absolutely delicious. And the macaroni salad? Perfect—creamy, flavorful, and no celery! Hands down one of the best spots for Hawaiian comfort food.

Good Food. Not As close to authentic island food. But it’s the better island food that I found in Colorado. Service was quick and friendly.

Wonderful Hawaiian food. Stationed on the island for 4 years and this is as close as it gets to being there.

FAMOUS DAVE'S BAR-B-QUE AURORA REVIEWS

For my first time coming, this place was really, really good! I went with family, and I ordered the Dave's Favorite Burger and had it well done, and it was absolutely perfect. The ambiance and atmosphere made it feel like I was at a family cookout with great music variety. The last thing I gotta say is that the guest service was great, coming from Ms. Kailee H. She gave us wonderful recommendations. Always checked in with us throughout it all. She gave us laughs and wonderful experiences tonight. She also knows how to make a pretty good makeshift cherry Pepsi. She went above and beyond and deserves a raise of some sort. All in all, I would like to thank you, and I will gladly be making a return

New manager Pilar was very helpful and attentive to the customers needs & answered any questions that we had. I went to the restaurant recently and noticed that the food tastes better, fresher and portions for the price are on point. The place is cleaner now than before now that new management is running the building. Staff seems to be more on point with new management demands and I'm definitely going back.

Came here for a Mother’s Day dinner. Our Server Chance was amazing. Very attentive, personable and patient. He also made my wife a delicious mocktail and made the whole experience excellent.

Came in with a large group for my birthday and was seated promptly. Anna the server was AMAZING, so efficient and helpful! Prices are very reasonable and the portions are perfectly sized. Unexpected stars were the japchae and the delicious salad vinaigrette. We did the middle AYCE and the selections were very generous. We were checked on constantly. This was one of the greatest KBBQ experiences I’ve ever had in any state.

Mr. Kim somehow ends up being far and away the best Korean BBQ place in the area while also being the most affordable. It is almost criminal how good of a value it is. The food was exceptional and fresher than any other Korean BBQ place I've been to. All you can eat is the way to go and you can get as many plates as you want with as many sides as you like. The brisket and beef bulgogi are fresh, properly cut, and authentic. And to top it all off, it ends up being more affordable than any other while somehow tasting far better than the competition. You are missing out by not going here! I drove more than 30 minutes away just looking for good Korean BBQ after having tried all the ones around me, and wow was it worth the trip!

My husband and I decided to eat here out of the blue one day and we do not regret this choice. Mr.Kim Korean BBQ has become our go to spot for KBBQ. The tier system was perfect and the food was delicious. Our servers were fast and attentive.
