Great spinner with my wife and mother in law! We had lasagna that was perfectly balanced between pasta, meat and cheeses. The Linguini with Clam Sauce was perfect was light, balanced and had whole clams in the shell. My wife enjoyed Cavatelli with Broccoli and Mushrooms in a Cream sauce where the broccoli was tender but not soft adding wonderful flavor to the pasta. Our appetizers included (we were overeating tonight) the Artichokes and Cheesy Garlic Bread were spot on. The artichokes were molten so be careful when biting in! The cheese garlic bread was honestly the best we’ve had. Finished up with Cannolis and an espresso. The cannoli has a crisp shell with a filling that is not too heavy or light - I always get that at Guidos. We had the opportunity to meet one of the owners, Miguel from Madrid. Ask him about the bull’s head in the dining room! Try to get the table by the fireplace in the winter. We can’t wait to get back and dig deeper into the menu.

Service was great and the waiter was very helpful with choosing items to order. All the food was good but I would say the item I enjoyed most was the empanadas. The potatos in the albandigas caseras dish were very good too. Would go back again to try more food and order the chef special empanadas (currently sweet potato)

Really cute and yummy! We had the chicken croquettes, lasagna, and chicken Alfredo pizza. EVERYTHING was amazing my entire family are regulars now

OLD CHICAGO REVIEWS

Our experience at this restaurant was positive overall. Our server was great, providing attentive service throughout our visit. While the bar side was busy, the dining room side was a bit slower. That being said, the food was good - I personally had a filling and delicious calzone with crispy texture and flavorful interior. My husband had a burger and sweet potato fries, which were decent. Additionally, they offer a good happy hour special, and I'm looking forward to returning to try another burger. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch today with a friend, ordered the 3 for special. Our waitress was amazing, the food was great and was exactly as ordered. Refills kept coming without asking, she brought our dessert at the perfect time after our meal. I'm disappointed I didn't catch her name because she made it a perfect dining experience !!.

Absolutely sweeping with the rating! Food was amazing and service was too, and the environment was outstanding.

Came across this place in a search and decided to order for pickup. The team was friendly and the food was ready as promised in about 20 mins. The interior definitely gives off older pizzeria vibes but could use an uograde. The Homestyle pizza was hefty, tasty, and filling. Ordered cheese bread as well which while good, came individually wrapped in foil causing the cheese to stick to it. Sauce is good and I have no real complaints. Would definitely want to return to try some other items.

Mamas in Aurora is EXCELLENT! I’ve been going there for 15 years….GREAT food. But the price is so reasonable-$14 for a calzone and salad. I had to ask if it was correct especially in a time when most restaurants are doubling their prices!! Thank you Mama Alvinos!.

Food is excellent and priced well. We continue to try new items. Thick noodles are great! We will try the pizza next time.
