GEN KOREAN BBQ HOUSE GLENDALE REVIEWS

The food is always delicious and on point. The staff pay attention to you and are always ready to bring you want you want but they don’t hover over you. I’ve been a few times and I always have a great experience. My only two complaints… the rest rooms have never been attended to correctly when I’ve visited. In fact I didn’t post a photo of the men’s toilet because it was too gross. The manager should really keep better tabs on keeping it clean. The second thing seems minor but it takes away from the experience. Sitting in the booth near the door, the sun was shining so bright in my eyes that I couldn’t look at other people on my booth. A simple scroll screen could take care of this. Again, I realize it seems minor but it truly detracts from the overall experience.

Always love a good KBBQ spot. This location gets very busy so call ahead or make reservations. The staff is great but because they are so busy sometimes they can be a bit slow,understandably. All the food is great but a few favorites are the spicy bulgogi, the carne asada and the Hawaiian steak. The new stuffed pancakes are Uh-Maze-Ing!! Drinks are good but a bit expensive.

Absolutely love dining here. Our server Anahit in particular was such a sweetheart and very attentive. 10/10 dining experience.

The staff is friendly, and the service is quick and efficient. Whether you're in the mood for chicken, beef, or pork, L&L has something for everyone. The combination of Hawaiian flavors and classic BBQ makes for a tasty and satisfying meal. Mahalo, L&L!" Areas of improvement: greeting customers when walking in. Kudos: The decoration of the place is very impressive.

We ordered spam musubis, BBQ chicken plates, a BBQ mix plate and a chicken katsu curry bowl. Food portions were very generous and taste was so satisfying! Lots of great drink choices too especially if you like sweet fruity drinks. The owner was kind and despite some language barrier, understood my special requests for the food. Also a very kind guy, took the time to check in with us and even treated us with some donuts! Made our Friday night!! Thank you.

I love L&L. I have tried other Hawaiian BBQ and this one has the perfect seasonings and sauces on ALL their protein, and all the sides complement them. It is my go to meal, and this particular location has such calm vibes. A regular after shopping at homegoods!! Definitely recommend.

Best beef Lula and pork iqibir I've had in LA so far. Service will remind you of your grumpy aunt back in the 90's, and it's cash only, but it's part of the experience and it's all worth it because of the food you get. Always makes me feel like I'm back in Yerevan of my youth.

This spot is fire. Fantastic food and portions are huge. Owner was super friendly to me, wouldn't have mattered if he wasn't because the food was on point. The Lula Kebab was as good as I've ever had, I'll be getting the pork ribs next time. Plenty of parking, cash only, take it to go.

We got lulya kebab, and it was so delicious! Too bad they didn’t have tables inside to eat. But we ate outside at their big table. We’ll definitely buy their food again.
