I ordered the 2 meats (pork & brisket) with a side of potato salad and fried green tomatoes. I have never had fried green tomatoes before and they were great! Brisket was a bit dry but overall tasted fine. Service was great and it was a cold day so I appreciated the heated area for dining in.

The atmosphere is fantastic. Such a cute area. Everyone was so nice. The food was delicious! The fried green tomatoes are a MUST I'm from Memphis * famous for BBQ* and not even a BBQ person . Maybe I am now lol the beer selection is also fantastic. Highly recommend.

They have boudin balls and pimento cheese. Staff were friendly. I wish they would label their sauces, put tape on the bottles and write on the tape. Food was good.

Even though it's order and carry out, the food was delicious, the rib tips were tender and a generous portion were given on the combo plate. The second meat was hot links and they were grilled to perfection and had plenty of bar-be-cue sauce on them and were just the right amount of heat by being spicy. The staff were friendly and got your order to you quickly.

E&L barbecue always taste great I love the pulled pork sandwich and turkey legs are delicious. Don’t forget to get you a ribs plate with baked beans and potato salad. Friendly people who treat every customer with smile. Best barbecue in Mississippi love this restaurant A+.

Always get the tips and link plate with sauce on fries. Never disappointed and I go at least once every couple of weeks. Try them out!

HICKORY PIT REVIEWS

Hickory pit is always consistently great!! The burgers, the brisket, the chicken! Nothing disappoints! It’s my go to for bbq. Be sure to get the hot bbq sauce because it’s incredibly good. The sides are also all great with the coleslaw and the fries close to the top of the list for me followed by the onion rings and the baked beans! And don’t forget about the desserts either, carrot cake or the Hershey bar pie!!

It's an old-time atmosphere, great friendly service, and good food. If you've never been I suggest you check it out.

No one does BBQ like the Hickory pit! 10/10 food and service from their incredible staff!
